WEBINAR: Leveraging Organizational Change Practices to Advance Racial Equity in Philanthropy

April 9, 2019 — 2:00 - 3:00 PM Eastern

Philanthropy consultants are in the unique position to be thoughtful partners and change agents as they help grantmaking clients nurture staff leadership and strengthen organizational culture with a racial equity lens.  Creating diverse, equitable work environments with a focus on inclusive hiring, talent development, and strong career ladders can be essential to this work.  Join us for a conversation with Nadia Brigham, program officer at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, as she shares how WKKF has implemented racial equity practices in organizational operations and what that means to its larger efforts to build equitable communities.  She’ll share some of the challenges and opportunities that foundations might experience during the process of leading with a racial equity lens. She’ll also offer tips on how consultants and grantmakers can consider some of these practices within their own organizations.

Presented in Partnership with the Southeastern Council of Foundations.
