Eligibility and FAQs
Membership is open to independent practitioners and firms that are experienced providing consulting services to grantmakers in fields of expertise that advance philanthropic mission. Individuals and firms may join as vetted Full Members or as Associate Members. Professionals in allied fields can join as Affiliate Members. Grantmaking institutions can join as Foundation Members.

Full Members, Full Member Firms, and Full Member Firm Representatives demonstrate depth and quality of consultant work by providing at least five grantmaker clients as references.
Associate Members, Associate Member Firms, and Associate Member Firm Representatives are active philanthropy consultants who work with a smaller client base or who may be newer to the field. Any Associate Member may apply for Full Membership upon qualifying.
Affiliate Members and Affiliate Member Firms are grantmakers and professionals in allied fields who support the mission of NNCG. Affiliate members are not profiled in the Directory of Consultants.
Annual membership dues are the same for Full, Associate and Affiliate Individual members.

Up to five firm representatives receive full membership benefits
$1,250 (additional members are $250 apiece)
