NNCG is a nexus of living knowledge from a dual source: fellow grantmakers and member philanthropy consultants who hold insight on the issues and trends facing the field. Through strategic partnerships, NNCG co-edited nine thought-provoking articles published in The Foundation Review devoted completely to the art and science of philanthropy consulting expanding foundation impact.
Grantmakers can feel confident partnering with and/or hiring NNCG members via the NNCG Directory, a groundbreaking resource and the only directory of experienced, vetted philanthropy consultants serving all types and sizes of grantmakers and adhere to a Code of Ethical Conduct of Professional Philanthropy Consulting.
When you become a foundation member, you are contributing to thousands of communities – including your own. We train and strengthen the expertise of grantmakers and consultants to grantmakers through monthly webinars on topics like developing robust internal equity practices within foundations, managing family philanthropy dynamics or engaging in effective consultant/foundation partnerships.
Continuing to provide grantmaker access to quality consultants and to promote our collective thought leadership, resources, and best practices is the difference between good and transformational philanthropy that NNCG builds upon – the kind of philanthropy that envisions resources better used, communities better served, and funding better spent. Did we mention, all items within NNCG Knowledge Center are authored by NNCG members!
NNCG is a learning community and forum for open discussion among consultants dedicated to strengthening philanthropy and increasing its impact.
NNCG co-authored a case study drawn from consultant members interviews yielding valuable lessons for advancing DEI in philanthropy.
