NNCG’s network includes a distinguished membership of
philanthropy consultants representing an array of areas of expertise related to
grantmakers and their philanthropic missions. It also includes foundation
members that have a deep commitment to supporting philanthropy consultants as
peers and trusted colleagues in efforts to advance the field. Collectively, our
network serves all types and sizes of philanthropy consultants, as well as
grantmakers, grantmaker networks, and philanthropic families. As a result, the
work of NNCG members has positive impact in hundreds of communities.
All NNCG Members agree to the NNCG Code of Ethical Conduct as a requirement of NNCG Membership.
NNCG offers membership at various levels for philanthropy consultants, consulting firms and philanthropic institutions. Members have the flexibility of engaging with NNCG at the level that best meets their needs, interests and priorities. We encourage you to check out the FAQs about membership before submitting an application.
NNCG Full Members are fully vetted philanthropy consultants who receive our highest level of benefits. They demonstrate depth and quality of work as individuals by providing at least five grantmaker clients as references.
NNCG Associate Members are active philanthropy consultants who work with a smaller client base or who may be newer to the field. Any Associate Member may apply for NNCG Full Membership upon qualifying and should only remain an NNCG Associate Member for a maximum of three years. Associate Members have access to many – but not all – the benefits of NNCG Full Membership.
NNCG Full Firm All Access Members are philanthropy consulting firms that typically want all of their consultants and staff to have full access to NNCG’s programs and resources and receive our highest level of benefits.
NNCG Full Firm Members are firms that have up to 5 fully vetted consultants who have full access to NNCG’s programs and resources and receive our highest level of benefits.
NNCG Associate Firm Members are philanthropy consulting firms that work with a smaller client base or are newer to the field. They should only remain an NNCG Associate Firm Member for a maximum of three years.
There are also opportunities for grantmaking institutions to join NNCG through our Foundation Membership program. Typically Foundation Members provide grants to NNCG programs and operations and/or sponsor special activities. Contact info@nncg.org for more details.
