Host a Virtual Café Breakout or Learning Group with Fellow Members (with our support, of course!)

Connection is key to our work in philanthropy. We are bringing back our Virtual Café series in 2021, setting aside open space and Zoom breakout rooms to discuss the issues and questions facing you every day.

What’s our challenge to you?

1.) Join us for this year’s first virtual café and tell us what you’d like to discuss with your colleagues in the field. (See details below for Café #1: April 13, 2021 at 2 pm ET.)

2.) Invite a fellow consultant to attend. 

3.) Consider facilitating a breakout for the April 13 event or even *hosting* one of the virtual cafés scheduled for later in the year (June 15, September 18, or November 11) by emailing us here.

2021 Virtual Café Series  –  Cafe #1: April 13, 2021

2:00 – 3:15 Eastern Time

We are bringing back our Virtual Café series in 2021, setting aside open space and Zoom breakout rooms to discuss the issues and questions facing you every day. What would you like to discuss with your philanthropy consultant colleagues? 

Potential topics:

• A return to travel?  Setting new boundaries and expectations 
• Making Zoom meetings work – tips and tricks 
• Learning from 2020:  helping clients reflect and learn from the shifts in practice and priority that 2020 and Covid required
• Facilitating difficult conversations 
• Warm ups that go deep – share your favorite ways to begin sessions 

Please register here to attend the April Virtual Café and let us know what you would like to discuss (whether one of our sample topics or something different).  If you’d be willing to provide light facilitation within your breakout room, please indicate that as well. Final breakouts will be determined based on interest.
