Consulting firm is recruiting for a research assistant with some knowledge of grantmaking and capacity building to help conduct a retrospective racial equity assessment of a large funder’s activities and grants during a two-year time period.
The goals of the externally focused racial equity assessment are twofold:
- To better understand the grantmaker’s current racial equity practices via its grantmaking programs, investments and partnerships; and
- To serve as a baseline or benchmark to measure current racial equity grantmaking and investments against its future grantmaking activities.
This is an eight month project that involves collecting and analysing data. The data will take the form of information gathered via documents, and information gathered via interviews. The project includes two other team members, a project manager and a lead research consultant.
